BLACKCYCLE WORKSHOP: REGISTRATION OPENING

 

The BLACKCYCLE 2022 workshop is getting ready. This is the flagship event of the project.
 

This year the workshop will be held in Zaragoza, Spain. This event aims to bring together the wider community of the BLACKCYCLE project.

Partners and stakeholders from various horizons are expected to come to Zaragoza and share the last news concerning BLACKCYLE.

 

Whether you are interested in the BLACKCYCLE solution, whether you have ideas for the consortium, whether you are expecting more circularity in society: THIS EVENT IS MADE FOR YOU.

 

You are welcome to this event in November, 2022, 22nd &23rd to discover:

You will have the opportunity to learn more and visit CSIC laboratories as well as the SISENER facilities (pyrolytic oil distillation columns), allowing you to see advanced technologies in a full scale industrial plant..

You will be amazed to see that the project is progressing rapidly, and that the dynamism of the teams makes possible to do great things.

  • THE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
Since September 2020, Michelin led the BlackCycle project to deal with an upcycling ambition, targeting the creation of a circular economy of the end-of-life tire (ELT) into technical applications within the tire industry by producing highly technical secondary raw materials (SRMs) from ELTs. These SRMs will be used to develop new ranges of passenger car and truck tires, which will be sold commercially in European and global markets.
 
 
  • CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGIES INDTECH 2022

IndTech 2022 is a flagship event on the European agenda, organized every two years by the European Commission in one of the countries holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

IndTech 2022 took place in Grenoble in France. Moreover, this year is a special one for Grenoble, since the city has been named the 2022 European Green Capital. The award highlights Grenoble’s long-term commitments concerning sustainable development, and this will be a year to go even further!
 

  • BLACKCYCLE PROJECT CLAIMS "PYROLISIS OPTIMISATION" MILESTONE

Project produces 60,000 litres of “optimised pyrolysis oil” from end-of-life tires

Dillingen, Germany – Tire recycling and sustainability initiative, the BlackCycle Project has reached a new milestone with the successful optimisation of waste tire pyrolysis process.

In a statement 8 June, Pyrum Innovations AG which supplies the pyrolysis technology for end-of-life tyres (ELT), said a trial campaign to optimise its process was completed on 24 May and 60,000 litres of “optimised pyrolysis oil” was delivered to Spanish project partner Sisener Ingenieros SL.

  • INTERVIEW OF MICHELIN BY MARTIN VON WOLFERSDORFF

ETRA conference took place during three days at the end of May. The Conference is the culmination of a year-long series of ETRA-led and supported activities and events that focused on market development and expansion for a broad array of recycled tire materials, products and applications.

There were many informal opportunities for delegates and speakers to meet and discuss common interests during Matchmaking activities, cocktail receptions and meals, etc. and after-hours meeting.
